Warranty – Legal and Commercial MÖHYA Signature

All MÖHYA Signature products are covered by a 2-year legal warranty of conformity , under the terms of Decree-Law No. 84/2021 (transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771), applicable to sales to consumers. In addition, we offer a MÖHYA Signature Commercial Warranty that complements the legal warranty, under the conditions described below.


1) Legal Guarantee (2 years)

  • Duration: 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage: manufacturing and material defects that prevent compliance with the contract.
  • Consumer rights: repair or replacement free of charge. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, or does not occur within a reasonable time, the consumer may request a price reduction or termination of the contract .
  • Scope: Applies only to sales to consumers (B2C). For corporate sales (B2B), the agreed contractual rules apply.
Exclusions from the Legal Guarantee
  • Normal wear and tear from use (e.g., superficial scratches, loss of shine).
  • Natural oxidation of silver and tarnishing due to contact with air, moisture, cosmetics, perfumes, or chemicals.
  • Damage caused by falls, impacts, deformation, tying, or misuse.
  • Alterations, interventions, or repairs performed by third parties not authorized by the brand.

2) MÖHYA Signature Commercial Guarantee

The MÖHYA Signature Commercial Guarantee is an additional and exclusive guarantee that offers 12 months of coverage against manufacturing or assembly defects in our handcrafted jewelry.

  • Services included: free repair or replacement of the part, subject to technical evaluation.
  • Validity: 12 months from the date of purchase, cumulative with the 2-year legal warranty.
  • Conditions: the item must be sent along with proof of purchase and a description of the problem.
  • Shipping costs: - The initial shipping cost for evaluation is the customer's responsibility .
    If the defect is confirmed, MÖHYA Signature will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced item.

If, after analysis, the defect is not covered by the warranty (e.g., damage due to misuse), the customer will be informed and may opt for an out-of-warranty repair quote.


3) How to activate the warranty

To activate the warranty, the customer must contact our Customer Service department via email at info@mohyasignature.com , providing the order number, purchase date, and a brief description of the problem. Whenever possible, you should include photographs that allow for an initial assessment of the item's condition.

After receiving the part, a technical analysis will be performed within an average of 10 business days. If the defect is covered, we will repair, replace, or refund it, as applicable.

MÖHYA Signature reserves the right to replace the item with an equivalent model in case of stock shortage or discontinuation of the original line.
